| Biography
Holly Lenz was born in Reno Nevada in 1977 to John and Paula Lenz and a very musical family. Growing up, Holly's focus turned from music to art. Throughout school, Holly took art classes and focused on drawing, painting and sculpting. After her high school graduation, Holly went to the University of Nevada, Reno where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art. After graduating from college, Holly got an entry level job at Greg Mason Advertising Arts . She worked there for a year, then decided to go back to school to learn the computer programs necessary to move forward in Graphic Design. She moved to Portland and studied at the Art Institute of Portland where she graduated December 20, 2002. Holly has worked as a graphic designer and art director for several publications including the Portland Entertainment and Lifestyle Monthly and the Apartment Renter's Guide. She recently worked as the marketing supervisor and designer for Gold Star Restaurant Equipment. Holly's fine art has been shown in several national shows including the Grand National Western Art Show at the Cow Palace in San Francisco and the Western States Horse Expo in 2008. She is a regular advertiser in Horses in Art and Art Horse magazines. Holly is available for freelance work as a graphic designer or illustrator. Her artwork is available for purchase online and commissions for fine art are always welcome. Galleries are invited to inquire about showing Holly's work. Holly Lenz |
