Lacy

 

Hello.  My name is Jan's Chantilly Lace, but my friends call me Lacy.  I am a Bichon Frise and have soft, curly, white hair, big black eyes, and a happy, loving temperament.

 

Mom had my picture taken by a professional pet photographer in November 2005!

 

I love new treats or toys and always go through all the grocery bags.  It's easier for mom to sort the groceries if they're out of the bags  and scattered on the floor.   I help mom every chance I get.

 

I have a good friend, Cosmo, who keeps me company.
We play together and have a great time.

 

When we wake up in the morning, mom always pets me and Cosmo and  rubs our tummies and talks to us.  I look sad when mom is ready to go to  work, but I know she'll be back.  Mom always gives me and Cosmo a  good breakfast before she leaves and we're good all day while she's gone.

 

I keep an eye on things at my house and let mom know if  anything unusual happens.  That's an important job!

 

Here I am, facing the grocery-bag-on-the-air- conditioning-vent-making-a-scary-noise-monster! Everybody stay back! I've got it covered!

 

Doesn't look quite so scary now.  I think I've got it where I want it!  Monsters always back off when a  brave Bichon comes on the scene!

 

All right, ya dirty-rat-scary-monster,  one false move and I'll tear ya ta shreds!   Once again, the household is saved, protected by Lacy, the Lion-Hearted Bichon!

I have been traveling on an airplane with mom.  I have a comfortable Sherpa bag on wheels and I really like it.  I stay right with mom and she's never out of my sight.  I've gone all the way to Richland, Washington, from Knoxville, Tennessee, and to Florida, too.  I'm a very good traveler!

 

I went to Florida for Christmas '98 to visit my mom's son, Trent.  He's sort of my big brother.  We had a great time and I'd love to go again.  Trent and I became good friends.  He kept showing me a closet where I could hide when it came time for us to get on a plane and go home.  Wonder why he did that?

 
 

When mom comes home, well that's the highlight of the whole day!  I dance and spin and dash around and woof-talk and go just plain nuts!  Mom plays with me a lot and I love to sit on her lap and get scratched or petted.  She brushes me real easy and I enjoy it so much that I go to sleep!  She's a great mom!  I have a good life with all the things I could ever want to be comfortable and happy.

This is Cosmo, my good friend.  He's a neat fellow.  We keep each other company when mom has to be gone.  I like him a lot and we blitz together.  What fun! You can see Cosmo on his page.
