| Last weekend I met the most wonderful fellow!
I had heard a lot about him, but seeing him in person surpassed everything
I had heard.
His name is Sammy and he's very handsome, big, strong, and loving. He has the sweetest face, softest hair, and gentlest demeanor. Sammy has a mission in life and he is very sure about it. He is here to watch over his mistress and continue the work Brandon began. He saw Brandon's devotion and felt the loss when Brandon was called home. He grieved with his mistress and then realized there was still work to be done, and it was up to him. So Sammy made a vow to his mistress and to Brandon at the Bridge that he would be strong and brave and stand by his mistress no matter what and always be there for her. Sammy's devotion is beautiful to see. His eyes gleam with love when he looks at his mistress. His tail constantly wags with happiness just being near her. He's never far away and no matter what distraction is offered, his attention returns to her. Sammy is a dog with a purpose in life and his pride in being the chosen one is evident. He is happy and has an air of grace about him. May he live long and share much happiness with his mistress. Only God can make a rose, or a Sammy. Jeanette
