When Jenny Met Snuggles
Jenny was a pretty girl, just getting on with life,
and Snuggles was a handsome boy, not thinking of a wife.
Then Snuggles had some surgery that made him feel so sad,
sweet Jenny wrote a card to him that made him feel so glad.
So they began to correspond, these two across the miles,
and soon the correspondence gave them cause for many smiles.
Then Snuggles felt his little heart go pitty, pitty pat,
and called her Jennygiwl, oh my, and that, of course, was that.
Sweet Jenny called him Nuggieman and thought he was the best,
and soon brave Snuggles did propose and Jennygiwl said "yes."
Now quite an uproar did ensue and e-mails filled the air,
between New York and Florida and almost everywhere.
A wedding dress had to be found, the bride’s sweet mama said,
and Snuggles had to have a tux and top hat for his head.
So Jenny got a wedding dress, done up in lace and pearls,
and lots of maidens to attend with dresses all in furls.
And Snuggles was a gentleman and looked so very fine,
with groomsmen dressed in cummerbunds and standing in a line.
The wedding day was bright and clear and everyone was there
to see the sweethearts take their vows, oh what a lovely pair.
The vows were said, the rings exchanged, and Snuggles kissed
his bride;
the lovely Jennygiwl he’d found was now his darling wife.
And all the guests saluted them and wished them all the best.
May Snuggles and his Jennygiwl be blessed with happiness.
