From the mountains of Slovenia to the Croatian shore of the Adriatic we'll visit cities and villages, a national park, islands, and even the (real) home of the famous Lipizzaner horses. Marks of the recent unpleasantness in the former Yugoslavia are fading, and people are getting on with their lives, part of which includes being welcoming hosts for visitors like us.
