Everyone who played seemed to enjoy the game. A few only sat down for one game just to play something different during open play. One lady who hadn't played chess in years gave me a tough game, and won, even though she had to refer to the Jetan rules flyer for every move. Several of the flyers I printed were taken by people who didn't play at all. Hopefully they'll explore the URLs I included and play Jetan on their own.

Justin Brown and Geoff Fastabend in the championship round.

Geoff Fastabend, the happy winner of the James Spratt Jetan set and custom made tiled board.

Justin Brown's mother, Cashia Brown, came in 3rd. Between them they took home the other tiled board and the best one of the Jetan sets I made- with the two extra tiles from the big boards for escape tokens.

James Spratt Jetan set, painted by Bob Lovely, on orange and black tile board bordered with goncalo alves wood. The black square is one of the escape tokens, made of two black glazed tiles bonded back to back with red tinted urethane plastic.
