They call me "Trooper", I was born in Fairfield, Iowa on the 1st of February 1990. I was brought down to the state of Florida at the age of 13 weeks. A wonderful young woman saw me sitting as cute as a button, in a box and feel in love. She took me home 3 days later, little did I know what a wonderful and healthy life(Mommy is a veterinary assistant) I would have. I spent the next 5-6 years with another cocker named,"Blackie". He was at least ten years older than me. He was very special to Mommy also. He passed away in Jan. 1996, Mommy was very sad. So on that day I decided to cheer Mommy up and make her happy again. She took me to dog shows(she never took Blackie) I really enjoyed that, I kept messing up on my last show so she would have to keep taking me to more shows. But I finally did good in June of 1997 and earned what humans call a C.D. My favorite pass time is running around our five acres chasing down those turtles and eating something Mommy thinks is disgusting,collecting sand spurs and pine needles too. I have a daughter, named Rhodaisa's Dakota Sunrise, they call her "Dakota". She looks like me-she has been living up north in Michigan, but she is coming back to live with us soon. My daughter is back with us now. She is as smart as I am ! Daddy likes her more than me, why I don't know, we look alot a like. It could be because of my attitude problem. I've also showed her where the hole in the fence is so she can get into the front pasture with the horses, and how to act real stupid like she can't remember how to get back in the yard and Mommy or Daddy have to walk all the way to the gate and let her back in. It's so much fun having another cocker around.
Lady gets jealous,since she's suposed to be "Daddy's Little Girl" I think it's funny. I'm busy teaching Dakota what a cocker is supposed to do-like going out in the morning with the dew all over the ground, getting nice and wet and coming back into the house and jumping up on the bed with Mommy & Daddy. I haven't convinced her yet that they aren't really mad just happy !!
