Tuxedo's Mighty Windstar
September 12, 1990 - May 2002

Hey! My name is Tux, short for Tuxedo. My full name is Tuxedo's Mighty Windstar. I didn't get that long name until recently. My name has always been just Tuxedo. I was named Tuxedo when I was just a couple of days old. They named me Tuxedo because I looked like I had a tuxedo on. My human mommy, Christie, gave me the name of Tuxedo's Mighty Windstar.

I can still remember the first time I saw my human mommy. I was so scared because it was the first time I had been away from my doggy mommy.
You see, I was only seven weeks old and I was the runt of the litter. So, nobody wanted me. That is why I was given to Christie. When Christie first brought me home, I could fit in the palm of her hands.
My first home was in Daytona Beach, Florida. When I got there I discovered there was already another dog there. Her name was Tiffany. She was a Beagle. She was a lot older and bigger than me. I tried following her and doing everything she did, but since she was a girl it didn't work out to well.
Everytime my mommy would leave I would sit there and as loud as I could (so they could hear me outside) I would cry "Mommy!!!"
I would follow my mommy around wherever she went. If she went into the bathroom, I would be right behind her. If she ate, I went to eat. If she was going to sleep, I would go to sleep. After a little while she started taking me outside with her. I would follow right at her heels, unless I had to go take care of nature's business.
When I started getting curious and wanting to go see things for myself, they put some kind of rope around me. I didn't like the idea, but at least I got to go outside.

I remember one time, I wasn't even a year old, I had to got to the emergency room. I was real sick. The vet thought I was going to die. But, thankfully, I made it.
