Raising Glory

With regular (almost continually) feedings Glory became alert and aware of her surroundings. The feeding process was rather messy, which explains the condition of her feathers near her beak. The food substitute would stick to her feathers, and it was difficult to remove.

While feeding she would aggressively follow my hand or finger in eager anticipation of food.

It would not be long before she would show interest in flying and gathering her own food and grits.
