Training Glory to Feed Herself and Building Flight Confidence

| With my teaching assignment beginning in mid-August I placed importance on Glory leaning to feed herself. She delighted in exploring the yard to search out grits and small seeds. Some reports that I read on the Internet indicated that hand feeding could be as long as four months if an effort toward self feeding was not undertaken. |

| Learning to fly would also be important if she was to return to the wild. Her first flights were short with ackward landings. It took a while for her to develope the strength to climb while flying and to hoover over the landing spot. |
