Training Glory to Feed Herself and Building Flight Confidence

With my teaching assignment beginning in mid-August I placed importance on Glory leaning to feed herself. She delighted in exploring the yard to search out grits and small seeds. Some reports that I read on the Internet indicated that hand feeding could be as long as four months if an effort toward self feeding was not undertaken.

Learning to fly would also be important if she was to return to the wild. Her first flights were short with ackward landings. It took a while for her to develope the strength to climb while flying and to hoover over the landing spot.
