Home Education Reviews & Links Directory

W

elcome to the Home Education Reviews and Links Directory, dedicated to promoting life learning especially as it occurs in a family setting {more briefly if less colorfully known as homeschooling}. This site is primarily a collection of useful web links - "useful" as a definition encompassing everything from the strictly curricular to stuff we just thought was way cool, because all of life is educational & learning cannot be separated out & compartmentalized. And don't be fooled by the name! There's a lot of stuff here that has nothing to do with homeschooling. There are also links to products we highly recommend from our own use {but we are not affiliated with in any way} & some of our own articles & reviews.

T

his is an inclusive site, meaning it contains links to sites both secular & Christian; both formal school-at-home & unschooling; both exclusively educational & apparently not-at-all educational; & probably frequently to sites that directly contradict each other as well, since, as Frank A. Clark tells us, "We find comfort among those who agree with us – growth among those who don’t.." {Whoever the heck Frank A. Clark is.}

hile every effort has been made to exclude sites with inappropriate content, we cannot be responsible for the content of any linked site. {In fact, we know for a fact that some of these sites have stuff we vehemently disagree with, but since disagreement does not necessarily equate with inappropriateness, their other content is valuable enough to outweigh their bad judgment in said areas of disagreement.. Remember what Frank said!}

S

urf around & enjoy the site, & remember: "What we think about when we are free to think about what we will – that is what we are or will soon become." {And we actually DO know who A. W. Tozer is!}

Please tell us if you find a cool site that needs to be included, or if you find any malfunctioning links. Thanks!
