Callisto (Ch. Zvezda’s Callisto) is a littermate to Polaris, out of Capella and Ch. Kontoki’s N’ Bingo Was His Name O. Her name comes from one of the moons of Jupiter – and the moon was named after a beautiful woman from Greek mythology. She’s the cutest one we have but was not shown very much – she is so sweet and submissive to us that we could never get her to put her ears up and look cute for the judge. She would always lay her ears back and try to give the judges kisses. So she went to Tommy Oelschlager (who shows and bred her father) in Pennsylvania for him to show. Joanne had put one point on her, and Tommy put 13 more points on her in one weekend! He only had to show her 6 times to finish her championship. She is really very sweet and just a love to pet. Even as a day-old puppy she would just wrap her little paws around our arms and hug. She likes to play with her sister Juno, the puppies Lillie and Lyra, and Paula (the rescue dog). She also enjoys playing with the cows next door (running up and down the fence with them). She likes to run on the team and sleep on the bed.
