Polaris, or Ch. Zvezda’s Polaris, is the first of a trio of littermates we kept out of Capella’s second litter born July 20, 1996. We named him after the north star, of course! Their father is Ch. Kontoki’s N’ Bingo Was His Name O, who was the number one Siberian Husky in the country for 1998 by virtue of the number of other Siberian Huskies and also by the number of dogs of other breeds defeated at shows for the year.. Polaris was shown exclusively by Bruce (except for once or twice by Joanne) and earned his championship on November 6, 1999. He has been to obedience school but Bruce has not really had time to perfect his obedience yet. He runs wheel on our team, and is working toward his Working Pack Dog title. During a recent seven-month assignment to a job in Houston, he and Bruce were constant companions and he enjoyed lounging around Bruce’s apartment.

Polaris finished his championship on Saturday 11-6-1999.  He finished by taking a major under Mr Reed J Keffer.
